About the Course
This comprehensive course prepares participants to respond to a wide range of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies in adults. It meets OSHA and other workplace safety certification requirements. Students can choose between a traditional classroom format or a blended learning option.
Class Structure & Format
💻 Instructor-Led Classroom Format: This format includes lectures, hands-on practice, and skills demonstration session. The class length is 3 ½ hours.
💻 Blended Learning Format: This format includes an online course and a hands-on session. The online course can be completed in 1 – 3 hours, depending on current knowledge of First Aid/CPR/AED, and does not have to be completed at one time. The hands-on training provides an opportunity to practice and demonstrate skills and takes about 2 hours.
Certification
Red Cross certification valid for 2 years
Optional
Optional Pediatric / Infant Care Add-On can be included in training. There is an additional $2 fee, and the length of the course is one hour longer.
